Last Thursday Zeynep Kartal had a fashion show in aid of refugee children at the Turkish Embassy in London. Turkish Ambassador Abdurrahman Bilgic and his wife Esra Bilgic hosted the event at their residence. All the money raised at the show went to the refugee families. Many Turkish and British celebrities attended the show. A generous donation to the Turkish charity Kizilay was made by the guests.
25 pieces of Zeynep Kartal’s collection consisting of black and white colours have been inspired by Zeynep’s feelings for the refugees. The black representing their sufferings and the White the hope for their future.
