Art meets fashion exhibition was held on Yunus Emre Institut in London on 15 th of September. It started with an invitation only opening ceremony which was organised by Zeynep Ober and hosted by Mehmet Karakus , director of Yunus Emre institute .Turkish and British VIP s , celebrities and members of the press attented the ceremony.

This exhibition was an amalgamation of art and fashion, the brain child of fashion expert and consultant Zeynep Ober. The collaborative work has been created from art of famous turkish painters of Gulten Imamoglu and Ertugrul Ates and designs of famous red carpet designer Zeynep Kartal. A selection of artists work have been applied to textiles by Panama Tekstil and Zeynep Kartal created a 10 piece evening wear collection with the textiles.

At the opening ceremony the guests viewed artists paintings on display and watched the catwalk. The ceremony started with speeches of Mehmet Karakus and Zeynep Ober and was followed by the catwalk.

The exhibition remained opened to public on Friday and Saturday and attracted many visitors.
